Deborah was expecting her to be here by now as Joe was two days early and she says usually a second baby arrives earlier if the first is early.
As for a name, a few weeks ago we'd decided on 'Emmie', but I'm now having seconds thoughts. I quite like 'Jess', in honour of British heptathlete Jessica Ennis, who should win gold this evening in the London Olympics. I just hope our daughter doesn't turn up when I'm watching Ennis in the 800m this evening!
